Greenways master mark

The Greenways master mark is a restrained peacock feather built from five converging fields of irregular Voronoi tesserae.

The generated SVG assets are the production source of truth for the approved silhouette, spectral balance, and material character.

  • Five feather planes, one base point. The mark opens like a peacock feather while retaining calm axial symmetry.
  • No embedded project sigils. Greenways represents the whole environment without turning the master mark into a catalogue of sub-brands.
  • Tessellation is structural. Every field is made from irregular Voronoi/smalti pieces. The pattern is not a texture applied after the shape is drawn.
  • Multi-spectral, not rainbow. Emerald, aquamarine, cyan, peacock blue, and sapphire form one controlled spectrum.
  • Calm before ornate. Gold, outlines, rings, eyes, and decorative filigree are not part of the primary mark.

The outer emerald pair provides the broad living base. Aquamarine and cyan rise through the middle as connected planes. A sapphire centre gives the feather its vertical lift. Visual Language uses this same Greenways identity because it is published as part of greenways.ai; the separate peacock-eye mark remains reserved for Greenways OS.

All five planes converge at the same lower point. This shared origin is important: the mark should read as one connected system, not five independent leaves.

Canonical variants are generated into assets/favicons:

Asset Use
greenways.svg Adaptive detailed mark
greenways-light.svg Fixed light-context mark
greenways-dark.svg Fixed dark-context mark
greenways-small.svg Adaptive compact mark
greenways-small-light.svg Fixed compact light mark
greenways-small-dark.svg Fixed compact dark mark

The compact files keep the same five-petal geometry and use larger Voronoi tesserae. They must never become a flat silhouette.

A 3D Greenways mark is a representation of this locked source, not a new master geometry. The square-on face must preserve the five petals, shared lower origin, and canonical tesserae exactly.

Use the 3D mark system for geometry, material, camera, motion, and delivery rules. The 3D Mark Lab provides a live GLSL relief study using greenways.svg as its source texture.

Greenways receives the quietest motion in the family. Prefer converging glass or stone planes, restrained edge light, and a stable resting pose. Do not separate the petals, inflate them into unrelated gems, or add ornamental frames.

The emblem and the Greenways wordmark are separate assets. Use the current typography tokens for the wordmark rather than converting exploratory lettering into paths. The emblem may appear alone in a favicon, project switcher, application tile, or compact navigation control.

  • place project sigils inside the petals;
  • replace the Voronoi cells with gradients or regular square tiles;
  • add a peacock eye, compass, gem, ring, or gold outline to the primary mark;
  • flatten compact variants;
  • recolour individual cells arbitrarily outside the canonical spectral palette.
